Chicago Liposuction

Liposuction is a very common plastic surgery procedure. You may not realize just how common it is, but the number of liposuction procedures performed annually actually doubles every 8 years!
Liposuction is in fact the most common plastic surgery procedure performed, due to its relative safety and effectiveness. In the Chicago Plastic Surgery scene, there are a number of good liposuction plastic surgeons. Gold Coast Plastic Surgery, surprisingly, does not offer liposuction plastic surgery, at least on its website.
Similarly, Lake Shore Plastic Surgery does not offer this service. We’ve found that many plastic surgeons in the Chicago area prefer to focus on other types of plastic surgery, such as breast augmentation, and stay away from pure liposuction.
Body Sculptor, run by Dr. Otto J. Placik, is one of the few places in the Chicago Plastic Surgery scene that does offer liposuction on his “procedures” page. In our experience, Body Sculptor does indeed tend to be a bit more expensive than some of the other plastic surgeons in Chicago, but if you’re looking for liposuction it’s hard to be beat.
Northwestern Plastic Surgery is another of the prominent plastic surgeons in the Chicago area that also offers liposuction in addition to the more common procedures. The prices are indeed a bit higher than the normal, but possibly lower than Body Sculptor depending on the area where you are having the liposuction performed.
Overall, if there’s one thing the Chicago Plastic Surgery doctors out there could really use more of, it’s more of those willing and able to perform liposuction. In recent years it has indeed gotten some bad press as a result of the mainstream perception that it’s dangerous, but if you go with one of the experienced Chicago Plastic Surgeons we have listed here, you should be fine.
